Great hard drive.

I am a DJ and I have several of these hard drives that I use for backup of my music collection. They are excellent drives and are very fast when accessing or searching music.

Durable as hell

The wires are cheep and will unplug if you’re not super careful. The thing is durable as hell though, you could drop it off a freakin mountain and all you’re files will still be there. Even if I tried to I wouldn’t be able to brake this thing.

Been through so many drives, and I'm never going back

I've tried so many hard drives, and this one is what I'll be sticking with. I do a lot of travel photography and had issues with my other drives crashing or not being able to deal with my high-movement, and occasionally, high humidity lifestyle. This drive holds up great, i've had it for over a year now and no problems. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and have recommended to many other photographers!

So I’m not the most careful with my stuff. I’m also not the most graceful human being you’ll meet. Things fall, drinks spill more often than I’d like to admit to… you know the drill. Being on the road, I needed something robust but portable to store my files on and this hard drive did it for me. Also the LaCie Rugged Mini comes with a USB-C cable which connects right into my MacBook (no USBs… don’t get me started on this) so I can edit my photos while I’m on the plane/train/ferry/anywhere without much of a desk space.
